Interview Tips
Search and apply to all jobs that you're interested in. If a Sun Hiring Manager is interested in you, they will call or email you for an interview.
You can also meet with Sun recruiters in person - check out our
event calendar for upcoming events at your school.
Bring a copy of your resume (transcripts too if possible) and any questions about Sun or the job you'd like to ask the interviewing manager.
- Be on time
- A little preparation goes a long way. Do your homework before the interview. There are lots of great resources to get to know Sun. Learn about Sun and our student resources. Sun also has a facebook page and a recruiting blog - lots of ways to learn more about the company.
- Ask questions: This is as much an opportunity for you to find out if this is the right fit for you as it is for Sun.
- Try to think ahead for actual examples that you can use to describe your skills and experiences. Providing evidence of your successes is a great way to promote your candidacy.
- Answer questions carefully and articulately.
- Most importantly - be yourself. You know you have what it takes - let it shine through.
Phone Interview Tips

- Thank the interviewer and ask if it would be possible to meet in person.
Follow up
- Ask about what the next steps are. When you should hear back and who you should expect to hear from.
